To reach the island of Kimolos you can take a ferry. Ferries arrive to the island daily during the summer period from Piraeus and the other Cycladic islands, including Santorini.
Another easy way is to fly to Milos and take the ferry Milos-Kimolos, a panoramic trip of 20 minutes. Also there is a boat taxi available to Milos and Folegandros.

Reach Kimolos from Piraeus
Kimolos can be reached by boat from the port of Piraeus. The trip is executed by a normal ferry so the trip can be a bit long, from seven (7) to eight (8), eight and a half 81/2 hours.

The island of Kimolos can be also reached from other smaller island of Cyclades like Folegandros, Santorini and Milos.

You can get to Kimolos from Milos, the closed island to Kimolos, by taking the small ferry F/B OSIA METHODIA that leaves from the small port of Pollonia (Milos) and reaches Kimolos port, Psathi, after a 20 minutes trip.

Is there an airport at Kimolos?
Unfortunately at Kimolos there is no airport but the nearby island of Milos has an airport with three or four flights a day from Athens.Click here to see the schedule.
From Milos airport you may reach the village of Pollonia, 14 km away, from where the ferry departs to Kimolos.
